The Heritage Gathering Primitives And Antiques Show
PIERCETON — The Pierceton Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring the annual Holiday Primitive and Antique show.
The chamber is anticipating their biggest and best show yet from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Dec. 2, at the Pierceton Elementary School. All vendors are juried which promotes the best primitives and antiques from all over Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio. The committee looks for the best antiques and primitive handmade vendors to offer our visitors. There are many vendors and large spaces to browse through and give you lots of opportunities to collect that perfect gift or decorating item for your home. The artisans create the best time period handmade items for your primitive home and the antique dealers hunt for the best antiques to offer you every year and this year is the best yet.
At 11 a.m. Kerry Hippensteel will be instructing visitors on how to decorate with greenery. He is a professional landscaper and antique dealer and has a great eye for design. Beginning at 1 p.m. Sally Reuter from Pure and Simple Woolens will be instructing visitors on the art of making a mini greenery garland feather tree. There will be a few kits available. Don’t forget to take home some fresh kettle corn popping just outside the doors. This show will start off your Christmas season with great shopping and fun! As always, the excitement of Christmas will be in the air. Refreshments will also be available sponsored by the Pierceton Chamber of Commerce.
Don’t miss this annual show. The sights, sounds and the aroma of Christmas wafting through the air makes you feel you stepped into a wonderland of Christmas. Take home a special one of a kind gift for a special person and a special decorating item for your home.
