Warsaw Man Faces Fifth Arrest Of Year After Kicking Female Down Stairs
WARSAW — A Warsaw man is facing his fifth arrest of the year after he kicked a female victim and caused her to fall down a stairway.
Timothy Ray Ruggles, 44, 513 E. Market St., Warsaw, is being charged with domestic battery with a child present, a level 6 felony; domestic battery causing moderate bodily injury, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On Oct. 23, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, he spoke with the victim’s daughter who allowed him inside the residence. The officer then located the female victim hiding under a mattress.
The victim advised that Ruggles was arguing with her when he became angry. Ruggles then kicked her in the back, causing her to fall to the floor and down a stairway. The officer observed and photographed a scrape on her left leg and the victim advised she was experiencing pain. A minor child was present when the incident occurred.
Ruggles was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a warrant on Nov. 28, with a $6,000 surety and cash bond.
Ruggles was also charged with residential entry in August, three counts of failure to appear in June, intimidation later in June and residential entry in April. During the intimidation incident, a Warsaw Police Officer was able to confirm that Ruggles was a member of the Aryan Brotherhood.
