Rhoades Accepts Associate Director Position
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Builders Association of Kosciusko – Fulton Counties’ Director and IBA State Parliamentarian, Frank Rhoades, Cottage Watchman Security Systems, Pierceton, accepted nomination to become a 2018 National Association of Home Builders Associate Director earlier this month. 2017 NAHB Associate Director, Tom Slater, Timberland Lumber Company, Terre Haute, will vacate his role.
As a National Associate Director, Rhoades will travel to two meetings annually to advocate in a variety of national discussions and debates pertaining to the building industry. Rhoades participated in the national legislative conference in Washington, DC earlier this year. NAHB’s Board of Directors comprises more than 2,000 members representing every U.S. state.
Dedicated to promoting and preserving safe and affordable housing, the NAHB is a federation of more than 700 state and local associations representing more than 140,000 members. About one-third of its members are home builders and remodelers while the rest work in closely related specialties such as housing finance and manufacturing and supplying building materials.
