Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers Hold Holiday Program
KOSCIUSKO — Handmade Holiday was the theme for the Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers Holiday Program held in the Home and Family Arts Building at Kosciusko County Fairgrounds on Nov. 15. Demonstrations were given by members of Knitting Together, and lunch was served by Extension Homemakers to numerous county members and guests.
Members demonstrated how to make advent boxes, decorative candles, wreaths, ribbon trees and items for children, ornaments, gift jars of soup, treats, and drinks, and homemade bath salts, shower melts, gift bags and bows. A lunch was served, and door prizes were given to several in attendance.
The mission of Indiana Extension Homemakers Association is to strengthen families through continuing education, leadership development, and volunteer community support. The organization is sponsored by Purdue University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Kosciusko County.
