Darlene L. Phillips — UPDATED
Darlene L. Phillips, 73, Syracuse, passed away at 4:08 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at her home. She was born on Jan. 8, 1944 in Warsaw to Fred and Lorena Carol (Black) Boggs.
She attended North Webster High School and was a lifetime North Webster / Syracuse area resident. She was married on April 11, 1987 to Larry D. Phillips who survives. She retired from Wawasee Electronics after 14 years and formerly worked at Stow & Davis Furniture in New Paris for several years.
She formerly attended the Church of God in North Webster.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; her daughter Renee Hively, Manistique, Mich.; son, Raymond Hively, Chicago; two step daughters: Tina (Larry) Mcafoose, Warsaw and Tanya (Trent) Gordon, Texas; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren; brother, Danny Boggs, Warsaw.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Milford.
