Beaman Home Thankful For First Friday Donations
WARSAW — The Beaman Home would like to thank the City of Warsaw, Warsaw Community Development Corporation and G&G Hauling and Excavating, for the opportunity to participate in November’s First Friday dedicated to giving back to the community.
Thanks to G&G Hauling’s First Friday sponsorship and donation drive, as well as the generosity of the Warsaw Community, Beaman Home was the recipient of many essential items to help our community’s domestic violence victims. Many times, when fleeing from their abusive situation, victims leave with nothing but the clothes on their back and their children in hand. The much-needed items will provide for them as they reside in Beaman Home’s emergency shelter, as well as assist in equipping their new homes when they start their new lives. Items collected for Beaman Home included deodorant, body wash, body lotion, diapers, baby wipes, cleaning products, dish soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, razors, toilet paper, paper towels and much more.
The Beaman Home is thankful to all who helped in this effort, and grateful to be surrounded by such a generous and giving community. Monetary donations may be made to the Beaman Home at PO Box 12, Warsaw, IN 46581-0012.
