Celebrate Thanksgiving At Last Fall Story Time
Bring a friend and celebrate Thanksgiving at the last fall story time at 10:15 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, and at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16. Children will enjoy a Thanksgiving feast and create a candy corn turkey. They are welcome to bring a snack to share.
Closing Early Nov. 14
The Milford Public Library will close at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, for a staff in-service. Please return materials in the drop boxes located at the south side of the building. The library will reopen at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15. Thank you for your cooperation.
Book And Bake Sale Nov. 18
The Book & Bake Sale is coming. The Friends of the Library will be putting on its fabulous book and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, in the Milford Public Library Meeting Room. All proceeds will benefit the Milford Public Library.
Knitting Club Meets Nov. 17
The Knitting Club will meet from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17. Come knit or crochet a warm, cozy blanket or a cute gift for family and friends. The club will teach anyone interested how to knit and crochet. Call (574) 658-4312 for more information.
Nutrition Program Provided By Purdue Extension Nov. 27
Cold weather is upon us, and it takes a little extra effort to take care of our skin in winter months. In this one hour “Nourish Your Skin” program, learn about things that can damage your skin, how to maintain skin barriers through nutrition, hygiene and protective measures as well as learn about how to perform skin self-checks to detect suspicious skin spots. Join us at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27. There will be a sign-up sheet at the adult circulation desk beginning Nov. 20. Bring a friend and sign up to win a door prize.
