Berneice M. Curtis — UPDATED
Berneice M. Curtis, 99, Claypool, passed away at 12:08 p.m. Nov. 8, 2017, in Kosciusko Community Hospital.
On Oct. 7, 1918 in North Judson she was born to Edward and Nadine (Carter) Lane. She was united in marriage to Raymond Eugene Curtis on Oct. 28, 1939 in Goshen.
She worked for Heckman Bindery in North Manchester, retiring in 1988. She attended Warsaw Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her son; Bill Eugene Barbara) Curtis of Winona Lake, daughter; Sharon Lee (Stan) Cripe of North Manchester. She is further survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband Raymond, her parents, sisters; Loraine Black, Ruth Troft and brothers; Robert, Claude and Tim Lane.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel in Pierceton with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton.
