Nappanee Public Library November Events
NAPPANEE — Below is a list of events being held at the Nappanee Public Library, 157 N. Main St., during the month of November.
Teen Tuesday will be held from 4 – 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. Participants will make art with silver and gold foil to celebrate the holiday season. Snacks and all materials are provided for teens ages 13 – 19. Register by Oct. 31. To register, call (574) 773-7919 or visit nappaneelibrary.org.
The Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregiver Support Group will meet from 7 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. Meet for information, sharing and support with others who are caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or dementia. No registration is necessary.
Starting Wednesday, Nov. 8, the library will be hosting its regular Mah Jongg game from 12:30 – 3 p.m. on Wednesdays throughout the month of November. No experience or registration is necessary. Come to learn the game and have fun.
Make a plaid, flannel wreath at this month’s Pinterest night, held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8. The cost is $5 per project, and children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Register by Nov. 1. To register, call (574) 773-7919 or visit nappaneelibrary.org.
A first-person presentation of President Abraham Lincoln in period dress will be held from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9. This presentation will include the story of how our national, annual observance of the Thanksgiving holiday came to be. Learn about Lincoln’s own personal history and the history of our nation. This event is for all ages. No registration is necessary.
