Kosciusko County Democrats Hosting Dinner
KOSCIUSKO — The Kosciusko County Democrats would like to take the opportunity to invite local Democrats to the upcoming A Salute to Service dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Owl’s Nest Banquet Center, 7369 East CR 800N, North Webster.
Speakers include Courtney Tritch, candidate for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District; Yatish Joshi, candidate for Congress in the 2nd Congressional District; and Martin Schiele, African American Grace College student who will speak about recent hate crimes incidents on campus and how to positively address them.
Tritch is a marketing professional from Fort Wayne who owns her own small business consulting firm. Previously, Tritch was the former vice president of marketing for the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership for six and a half years. She also worked with Fort Wayne’s Downtown Improvement District. Tritch is running in order to create an America where poor and wealthy alike can receive quality healthcare, obtain an excellent education and revive the middle class so everyone can achieve the American Dream in an equal and inclusive society.
Joshi is an American success story. Born in India, Joshi immigrated to the United States in 1976 to attend graduate school. In 1988, Joshi founded GTA Components, a manufacturing company that builds large scale water containers for the military. Mr. Joshi’s firm is located on the west side of South Bend and employs over 60 Hoosiers in good paying jobs.
Invitations have also been sent to other recently declared 2nd District Congressional Candidates.
We invite local Democrats to join us to hear a progressive vision for northern Indiana, as well as to learn how they can get involved for 2018!
