Bone City Rollers Donate To Support Survivors At Beaman Home
WARSAW — Thanks to the good works of the Bone City Rollers, Beaman Home is the recipient of the team’s last fundraiser and was presented with $800 to support survivors during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and is a time for remembrance and reflection. It is also a time for action. It takes bold action to prevent domestic violence and support survivors, so this year the Beaman Home is asking people to participate, organize, and prevent. Take action this month by volunteering at the Beaman Home, and work to help make your community a safe, stable and nurturing environment for families.
Make a donation to help families who are suffering from the trauma of domestic violence and are trying to pick up the pieces of their lives. Beaman Home has many ways to donate; mail a check to P.O. Box 12, Warsaw, IN 46580; donate items to the Basic Needs Center at 1023 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw; or donate with automatic withdraw from your checking account; or online at www.TheBeamanHome.com/donate.
Beaman Home is celebrating this month in many ways with a variety of small fundraisers, additional speaking engagements and Beaman Home’s very popular Bingo event, which sold out this year.
