The Press in Nappanee
Come to the Nappanee Center during hours between Nov. 1 – Dec. 31, and see how the press helped shape Nappanee in to what it is today. Learn about the Advance News, how it has changed and more. No registration necessary.
Mah Jongg
The library is hosting its regular Mah Jongg game 12:30 – 3 p.m. Wednesdays, throughout the month of November. No experience or registration is necessary, come to learn the game and have fun.
Book a Librarian
Schedule a 30-minute appointment with the library’s skills trainer Martha Owen. Learn the ins and outs of the library catalog, how to download e-books to your device, basic computer skills, how to use e-mail and more. Call Owen at (574) 773-7812 or e-mail [email protected] to register. “Book a Librarian” will be held 9:30 a.m. – noon and 3-6 p.m. every other Thursday on a regular basis.
Tween Thursday
Snacks and all materials are provided for tweens, ages 8-12, while they work together to create yarn paintings in the cube 4-5 p.m. Nov. 2. Register by Oct. 26 by calling (574) 773-7919 or visit nappaneelibrary.org.
ECMA Free Museum Day
The Elkhart County Museum Association is offering a free museum day 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Nov. 4, for local residents to see all of the fun and exciting things to do right here in Elkhart County.
