T.L. Jackson Construction And Mission Contracting Merger Will Create Synergistic Effects For Their Customers
SYRACUSE — Brad and Bruce Jackson will be joining forces once again in 2018. Their father, Tom Jackson, started in the construction business in 1972. Tom’s sons, Brad and Bruce, joined the business in their teens and took over the business in 2005 when their father retired. In 2007, Bruce decided to strike out on his own and started Mission Contracting, while Brad continued with T.L. Jackson Construction. After 10 successful years, Bruce has decided to merge his company with T.L. Jackson Construction. The new corporate structure will continue as T.L. Jackson Construction, Inc.
Bruce formed Mission Contracting to pursue his passion for being on site during the building process. The business steadily grew to new custom homes, remodeling and light commercial construction. Growth took the company to the point where Bruce either had to add staff, management and support positions, or scale back operations. Bruce had previously talked to a few other builders about merging companies but didn’t feel they were the right match. At the same time, Brad was looking for a way to focus more on company growth for T.L. Jackson and less on the day to day operations. In a somewhat divinely directed conversation, Bruce and Brad determined that merging together into one company would create the solution they were both looking for.
Stephen Covey said, “Synergy is the highest activity of life; it creates new untapped alternatives; it values and exploits the mental, emotional and psychological differences between people. Synergy is what happens when one plus one equals ten or a hundred or even a thousand!” The merger of T.L. Jackson Construction and Mission Contracting will definitely result in synergy. The combined success and experience of Bruce and Brad will result in greater levels of quality, customer service and customer satisfaction.
T.L. Jackson Construction, Inc. is a second-generation family-owned company which was founded in the 1970’s when Tom Jackson began fire damage repair. Over the years, T.L. Jackson Construction has become a leader in top quality residential and light-commercial new and remodeling projects. T.L. Jackson has procured a focus on providing service on a very personal level and treating customers with the utmost respect.
Mission Contracting designs and builds the finest quality custom homes, unique remodels and commercial projects. Mission contracting strives to consistently build a quality product and provide outstanding customer service. “On-site and Involved” is more than part of the company logo; Bruce remains on-site during the entire construction process – start to finish.
