Dials Arrested After Failing To Return To Work Release
WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested after he clocked out for a work break and never returned to work or his work release program.
Nicholas Dee Dials, 32, 3216 S. Oak St., Warsaw, is being charged with failure to return to lawful detention, a level 6 felony.
On Aug. 21, Dials was incarcerated in the Kosciusko County Work Release Center due to criminal charges in Kosciusko County Circuit Court.
On Oct. 3, Dials left the work release center and appeared for work at LSC Communications. Dials was authorized to leave for work at 6:30 p.m. and return to the work release center by 7:30 a.m. the next morning.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, Dials clocked out at work for a break at 8:30 p.m. and never returned. Dials failed to return to lawful detention at the work release center.
He was arrested on Oct. 9, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond. Dials currently remains in custody at the Kosciusko County Jail.
