Freedom Oil Holds Ribbon Cutting At New Station
WARSAW — If you have driven down Argonne Road in Warsaw in the last few months, it would be hard to miss the construction taking place near what was Our Father’s House and the CITGO gas station.
Freedom Oil, an Indiana-based CITGO marketer, owned the station at 425 Argonne Road, Warsaw, and gained possession of the Our Father’s House building at 401 Argonne Road in February, with the intention of building a new state-of-the-art convenience store.
Besides being a state-of-the-art facility, the new building is a result of approving the stretch of Argonne Road as an economic development target area.
Greg Cobb, managing member of Freedom Oil LLC, stated in an earlier meeting that the new build would benefit the general public by improving and upgrading the structures, reducing traffic congestion and proving an essential first step in providing for potential development.
Passersby will notice that the new station sits further back from the road than the old building, an improvement that will help traffic flow and increase safety.
Miss Indiana was present at the grand opening event in order to hand out prizes. For more information about Freedom Oil, call (574) 267-1506.
