Local Paranormal Investigation Team To Celebrate National Ghost Hunting Day
WARSAW — On Sept. 30, Warsaw Indiana Paranormal Research and Studies, representing Warsaw and the Kosciusko County Historical Society housed in the Old Jail museum, will celebrate National Ghost Hunting Day by participating in the iconic World’s Largest Ghost Hunt, globally collaborating the efforts of hundreds of ghost hunting professionals.
A multi-media platform has been customized to allow historical locations and their ghost hunting team partners to be part of a live-stream showcasing paranormal investigations all over the world.
Known as satellites, the local ghost hunt team WIPRS will join other world-wide held paranormal investigations conducted by some of the most respected and dedicated ghost hunting teams in existence within the most mysterious and oldest structures in the world. Thus far, ten countries are engaged, including Australia, Canada, England, India, Ireland, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Scotland and 25 states in the USA.
In addition, WIPRS will join the rest of the teams, globally, to take part in a paranormal experiment named “the bridge,” executed during the hunt.
The goals of National Ghost Hunting Day are to raise public awareness of best practices and professionalism in paranormal investigation, increase appreciation of local history and landmarks across the nation, be a contributor to significant ongoing paranormal research and to unite and organize a network of ghost hunting teams in common cause to benefit local preservation efforts of at-risk historical properties around the world.
WIPRS has been raising funds for the Old Jail museum in Warsaw by inviting the public to conduct their own paranormal investigations at the site. An affordable entrance price allows attendees of all levels of ghost hunting experience to have a great time exploring the haunted property with guidance and tools.
