Stoelting And Sayenko Wed Sept. 9, Planning Trip To Italy
SYRACUSE — Rebecca Alice Stoelting and Maksim Aleksandrovich Sayenko, both of Chicago, were married in an intimate, double ring ceremony with family present at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Harkless Gazebo, Lakeside Park, Syracuse. After a boat ride around Syracuse Lake, a dinner followed at the Oakwood Resort, Syracuse.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Martha Stoelting, Syracuse, and the groom is the son of Aleksandr and Sofiya Sayenko, Palatine, Ill. The wedding officiant was Deb Peterson while the guitarist and soloist was David Hazledine. Featured during the wedding was a grandparents memorial and a sand ceremony.
The bride wore a short, white dress with lace applique and carried a bouquet of red roses, purple stock, asters and other flowers in berry colors. Joan Stoelting, the grandmother of the bride, gave the couple her 70-year-old wedding band.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Wawasee High School, Syracuse, and earned her degree from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2007. She is a nanny in Chicago. A 2003 graduate of Buffalo Grove High School, Buffalo Grove, Ill., the groom received his degree from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2007 and is employed as an enterprise account manager by Comcast Enterprise Services, Oak Brook, Ill.
The couple lives in Chicago and is planning a trip to Italy.
