Coble Announced As WPD’s Public Information Officer

WARSAW β€” The Warsaw Police Department has officially announced the department’s new Public Information Officer, Detective Ryan E. Coble.

Coble is a resident of the City of Warsaw and a four year veteran of the Warsaw Police Department. He has held the ranks of Patrol Officer and Corporal before recently being promoted to the rank of Detective. The new assignment will be in addition to his responsibilities as a member of the Warsaw Police Department Detective Division.

Coble received a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from IPFW in 2013 and ​is ​a 2013 graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. He is currently a member of the City of Warsaw Aquatics Unit and has certifications in the areas of crime scene investigations, cell phone extraction, and digital imaging video recovery techniques.

Coble is replacing Kip Shuter who recently retired and had been WPD’s Public Information Officer since 2010. The PIO is responsible for providing information and press releases to the public and area news agencies.
