Parenting And Marriage Seminars Coming Up At The Y
WARSAW — This fall the Kosciusko Community YMCA wants to help you grow as a family by offering two parenting classes and a series of marriage seminars. They’re open to everyone; you don’t have to be a member of the Y to participate in these opportunities.
The YMCA is partnering with Crosswinds Counseling to offer a monthly seminar titled “Maximizing Your Marriage” over the course of 6 months. These seminars will enable individuals and families to claim control, restore relationships and build hope. They will include various assessments and exercises addressing the topic covered each month. The seminars are informative, thought provoking and entertaining, and offer an emotionally supportive and interactive experience. The seminars are facilitated by Crosswinds Therapists and/or Family Coaches. They will take place in the Parkview Warsaw YMCA multipurpose room 2, from 6 until 7:30 p.m., the 3rd Wednesday of each month from September until March 2018.
The first class will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 20 and will focus on communication, including how to express yourself. The October class will deal with healthy conflict management and compromise. Interested attendees can register for one seminar or all six. See more information on our website at www.kcymca.org. Please register at https://app.etapestry.com/cart/LifelineYouth/cart2/index.php
