Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following incidents:
- 4:44 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 100 block EMS B51 Lane, Warsaw. Barbara Arlington reported the theft of cash.
- 1:47 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 4400 block North SR 15, Warsaw. Police responded to a call of a theft of items from a storage unit rented by Semone J. Miller.
- 6:05 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 8200 block East Hatchery Road and North Eagle Trail, Syracuse. Virginia Dee Tinkey reported criminal mischief to a vehicle.
- 4:07 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2400 block West CR 250S, Warsaw. Cassandra Chea Wagoner reported a purse and book bag were stolen from her vehicle overnight.
- 1:08 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 6300 block South CR 700W, Claypool. Police responded to a battery call that also included the theft of a hand tool set, battery charger and vehicle keys. Value: $350.
- 1:01 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 8300 block South SR 19, Akron. Police responded to a call from Tippecanoe Valley School officials regarding a student refusing to do anything requested.
- 12:38 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 8300 block South SR 19, Akron. Police responded to a call of a student refusing to go to school.
- 11:46 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2400 block West CR 250S, Warsaw. Juan Carlos Gonzalez reported his wallet was stolen from his vehicle overnight.
- 9:29 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, 100 block EMS D18A Lane, Syracuse. Police responded to a call regarding a battery that had taken place.
- 8:48 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, 3100 block East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Jackie Lue Hamilton reported check fraud.
- 8:09 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, 11100 block North Humpty Dumpty Drive, Cromwell. Police responded to a juvenile complaint.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 4:57 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, 1100 block South Harkless Drive, Syracuse. Angela Beth Winter reported her vehicle was hit by a hit and run driver. Damage: $2,300.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incident:
- 2:49 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 1100 block Husky Trail, Warsaw. Officials at Season’s Homecare reported a suspicious incident.
