Enchanted Hills Man Faces Felony And Misdemeanor Charges Of Battery
CROMWELL — Steven C. Printz, 67, 9541 E. Pixie Parkway, Cromwell, has been charged with battery causing moderate bodily injury, a level 6 felony; and two counts of battery, class A misdemeanors, following an Aug. 19 incident. He was arrested Thursday, Aug. 22, and booked in the Kosciusko County Jail.
His bond was set at $5,250 surety and cash.
Court documents state police were called to the Pixie Parkway address for a battery taking place. Police met with the female victim who was standing in the front yard with two small children. She stated she and Printz entered into an argument about the installation of a new toilet seat. During the argument Printz allegedly attempted to hit her in the face with his fist, but she was able to deflect the punch. He then took another swing, hitting her near the left eye causing swelling. She also told police she struck Printz on the face in retaliation.
Another male stepped in the middle of the altercation allowing the victim to leave the residence. At that time Printz hit the male in the face with his fist.
Printz told police he did hit the male in the face as he thought the male was about to hit him. Printz was given a portable breath test showing his blood alcohol content was .251.
