LCA Soccer: Bruins Have No Mercy
WATERFORD MILLS – It was a circle date on the calendar for the Lakeland Christian Academy boys soccer program. But it ended up just being a bad loss, 5-0, at Bethany Christian Thursday night.
The Northern Indiana Soccer Conference rivals lacked the bitter spirit as Bethany dominated from the start, scoring three times in the first half and adding two more cushion goals in the second half.
LCA managed just one shot on net the entire contest, that coming late in the second half on a soft lofting shot easily handled. Bethany, on the other hand, took 28 shots on the night and put 15 on target, making LCA keeper Remington Swanson turn away 10 shots.
LCA (1-2) will visit Victory Christian Academy Friday outside of Valparaiso.
