Jason Culver Announced As Edgewood Assistant Principal
WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools is proud to announce Jason Culver as the new assistant principal of Edgewood Middle School.
Culver graduated from Ball State University, Muncie, in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and health. He furthered his studies at Indiana University Purdue University, Fort Wayne, where he received his master’s degree in educational leadership.
Culver began his tenure at Warsaw Community Schools working at Edgewood Middle School as a sixth and seventh grade physical education and health teacher. In addition, he coached the seventh grade boys’ basketball team, the seventh and eighth grade boys’ track team and worked as the boys’ junior varsity basketball coach for Warsaw Community High School.
Following his time at Edgewood, Culver worked at Leesburg Elementary School as a physical education teacher. While at Leesburg, Culver worked as the fourth through seventh grade summer school facilitator, assisted in planning and implementing curriculum, served on the district accountability committee and data team, assisted in the pursuit of several grants and participated in numerous other school committees.
“We are very excited to have Mr. Culver rejoining our staff at Edgewood Middle School,” stated WCS Superintendent, Dr. David Hoffert. “His experience with leadership and elementary and secondary settings is a great addition to the Edgewood staff.”
