Triton Volleyball: Trojans Start Strong, Can’t Hold On At Glenn
WALKERTON — Triton’s volleyball team jumped ahead two games to none but couldn’t hold off host John Glenn on the road in Walkerton Monday night, falling 23-25, 22-25, 25-17, 25-10, 15-8.
Nicole Sechrist finished with a prolific 19 kills to go with six solo blocks and three aces to lead the Lady Trojan offense, while Hannah Wanemacher managed 25 assists and 13 digs. Emma Ross had a solid all-around match with 13 digs, four kills and two aces, while Sydney Musilli also served up a pair of aces in the loss.
Triton will look to bounce back Wednesday, when the Trojans travel to Mishawaka for their second match of the year.
