LSD And Meth Found During Traffic Stop Leads To Three Arrested
WARSAW — An officer noticed a driver and passengers acting nervous during a traffic stop and discovered two were lying about their names. After further investigation, methamphetamine and LSD were found inside the car.
Samantha Lynn Lackey, 19, 15549 CR 44, Goshen, is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor; and false identity statement, a class A misdemeanor.
Jordan Derric Yoder, 22, 258 Oak St., Bristol, is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
Anna Elizabeth Warner, 26, 223 Middle Berry St., Elkhart, is being charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony.
On July 27, an officer with the Warsaw Police Department witnessed a black Ford Focus failed to use a proper turn signal and conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Yoder, the front seat passenger as Warner and the two rear passengers provided false identifying information. One of the rear passengers was later identified as Lackey and the other as a minor. The officer noticed the driver and passengers appeared extremely nervous.
Another officer arrived with his canine partner who conducted an outer search of the vehicle. The canine gave a positive alert to the presence of illegal drugs. The officers searched the vehicle and discovered a smoking device with marijuana residue, two tubes containing marijuana, three handguns and digital scales with methamphetamine residue. A cooler was located in the back seat which contained scissors, foil, and 20 pieces of LSD blotter paper.
Warner also admitted to having placed several small plastic bags into her vagina. A female jailer later removed three plastic bags of methamphetamine from inside Warner.
All three of the adult individuals were arrested and transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.
