Pierceton Days Providing A Weekend Full Of Entertainment
PIERCETON — Pierceton Days promises to be a fun weekend for residents and visitors alike.

Although the annual parade used to be held Saturday evening, it has been switched to Friday at 7 p.m.
The public is invited to come and witness the magic as Mickey Mouse and other childhood favorites take to the streets for the “Disney comes to Pierceton” theme.
Awards will take place in Brower Park following the parade.
People are encouraged to stick around the park after the awards and hear Miss Kitty’s Revenge, an up and coming country band, play from 8-10 p.m.
On Saturday the fun continues with garage sales beginning at 7 a.m. and activities held at American Legion from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The fish fry will be held at the same time and place as Friday.
Both the carnival rides and vendors will open for business at noon.
The Pierceton Lions Club will be selling food like corn on the cob, melons and corn bread all day.
Car lovers can catch the annual car show from 5-8 p.m.
Free carriage rides will be available from 5-9 p.m. and RE/MAX hot air balloon rides will be offered, for a donation, from 7-8 p.m. at the ball park, weather and wind permitting.
