August First Friday To Feature Car Show
WARSAW — Engines will be revving up for Warsaw’s August First Friday.
Warsaw is welcoming the 27th annual Cruisin’ Hoosiers Car Show sponsored by the Baker Youth Club from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4. The annual show is always a hit, featuring cars from any and every decade. Car experts and novices alike can appreciate the array of vehicles that will line downtown streets.
All proceeds benefit the Baker Youth Club in Warsaw and its many programs throughout Kosciusko County. A silent auction will take place in front of the cannon at the courthouse square. Registration for the car show is from 3 to 5 p.m. Entry for cars will be located at East Center and Indiana streets.
The judging will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top 30 pre-1989 cars, top 20 1990-2000 cars and top eight motorcycles. The awards ceremony will begin at 8 p.m.
Live entertainment, food vendors and many cars, trucks and motorcycles will be on display throughout the evening.
