Sharon Marshall
Sharon Marshall, 77, Columbia City, passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Parkview Randallia Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born on May 12, 1940 in Fort Wayne she was the daughter of Charles Edward and Fonda Marie (Miller) Cook.
Sharon attended Allen County Schools and graduated from Huntertown High School, with the Class of 1957. On Feb. 28, 1958 Sharon married Terry Quinn Marshall, Sr. at Trinity United Methodist Church. She has been a Columbia City resident since 1973, when she moved from Fort Wayne. Sharon worked as an assembler and later in quality control at General Electric for over 35 years, until her retirement in 1995. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time at the lake.
Survivors include her children Brenda Starkey of Warsaw, Tenison (Mark) Stone of New Carlisle, Terry Marshall, Jr. of Columbia City, LuAnn Marshall of Millington, Tenn., and Gary Marshall of Columbia City; 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother Frank Cook of Ramona, CA; sister Nancy Krause of Petoskey, MI; nieces Betty Jean Kelley and Fonda Seewald, both of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Fonda Cook, husband Terry Marshall, Sr., brother Charles Cook, and sisters Phyllis Seewald and Mary Connett.
