Milford Public Library News And Events
MILFORD — The following events will take place at the Milford Public Library:
THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING LEGO CHALLENGE
Milford Public Library hosted a Lego Challenge July 18 as a part of the “Building Library Relationships” series in partnership with Syracuse Public Library and North Webster Community Public Library. The series was created to encourage community members to use their Evergreen library card at any local institution. Children attending the program partnered together to participate in creative challenges. The children worked in teams to build the Lego creation on the “challenge card” they were given. Everyone did a great job and had fun. If you would like to learn more about Lego Challenges, just ask us for information.

SAVE ENERGY THIS SUMMER
Check out an electricity usage monitor, called Kill A Watt, to assess how efficient your appliances are. Kill A Watt, located behind the adult circulation desk, check the kilowatts, amps and volts used by your device. Appliances use electricity even when they’re turned off and can add hundreds of dollars to your electricity bill each year. It’s easy to use: just plug your appliance into the Kill A Watt device. Kill A Watt can be checked out for a week.
