Charles A. ‘Mick’ Iser
Charles A. “Mick” Iser, 93, Huntington, passed away Wednesday morning, July 19, 2017, at Heritage Pointe in Warren.
Born in Keyser, W. Va. on Aug. 4, 1923, to Albert L. and Lula M. (McGinnis) Iser, he married M. Marie Swartz in Bluffton on Jan. 26, 1943; she preceded him in death on Sept. 4, 2010.
Mick graduated from Keyser High School in West Virginia and was a member of the First Church of Christ in Bluffton. He served in the United States Navy from 1943 until 1945 during WWII.
Mick worked at several area businesses, normally as a supervisor, and retired from Monarch Specialty Systems in Ossian. He also owned and operated Mick’s Mower Shop for over twenty years.
Survivors include a son, Chuck Iser of Markle, a daughter, Lula Iser of Warsaw; along with one grandchild, two great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
He was the last of his family.
There are no public services planned. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton. Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
