Kosciusko County Fair Launches 101st Annual Fair
WARSAW — It was beautiful weather for the annual Kosciusko Fair Parade to kick-off the 101st Kosciusko County Fair Sunday, July 9.
The parade started at 3:30 p.m. Following last year’s route, the parade started at Bogg’s Industrial Park at Hepler Drive and Center Street, following Center Street down to Bronson Street, and then Bronson Street down into the fairgrounds. From start to finish the parade took about an hour.
There were eight available parade categories: 4-H, vehicle, float, equestrian, commercial, best of theme, club and walking. This year’s fair theme is “Friends, Family & Fun at the Fair.”
County emergency vehicles from every township, including DNR and state police, lead the parade. They were followed by the fair royalty. The parade ended with a long line of tractors from local farms.
The Kosciusko County Fair runs through Saturday, July 15. Click here to see grandstand events.
