KCCF Parade Will Roll Through Warsaw
WARSAW — Warsaw will come to life Sunday, July 9, as people cluster up on the sidewalks to catch a glimpse of the annual Kosciusko County Community Fair Parade as it weaves its way through town.
Despite what the weather might be like, the parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Boggs Industrial Park at Helper Drive. It will move through Center Street, Bronson Street and Smith Street.
This year, participants will try to capture moments with loved ones as they embrace the “Friends, Family & Fun at the Fair” theme.
There will be eight categories for the parade including 4-H, vehicle, float, equestrian, commercial, best of theme, club and walking.
Check in for those in the parade will be in the Century Link parking lot and the line up is at 2 p.m. at the City Sewage Plant on West Center Street.
All entries must be turned in or faxed to the fair office and need to have a brief written statement that will be read as the unit passes the announcement stand.
The entry deadline is noon, July 7. For more information, call the fair office at (574) 269-1823.
