Independence Day Weekend Fireworks And Events
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Following is a list of Independence Day weekend events and fireworks in Kosciusko County.
LEESBURG
- The Tippecanoe Lake Flotilla will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 1.
- Fireworks will begin at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 1 in front of Patona Bay.
NORTH WEBSTER
- Fireworks are scheduled for 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 1. The display is shot from Kline Island. For non-residents and visitors, the best view is from the Dixie or town park.
- The Ski Bees will have an evening show on July 1. The pre-show will begin at about 5:30 and main show at 6 p.m. The main show is about an hour long. The show is at the North Webster Town Park.
SYRACUSE
- Lake Wawasee fireworks will be held at 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 1.
- The Wawasee Flotilla will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2. This year’s theme is “Disney On Wawasee.”

The Fort Wayne Philharmonic Patriotic Pops will perform a free concert at Oakwood Resort at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2.
- The Wawasee Flotilla Road Race will be held at the Syracuse Community Center on Tuesday, July 4.
- The Lake Area Community Band will perform at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4 at the Lakeside Park Pavilion.
- Syracuse Lake fireworks will be held at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4.
WARSAW

Chapman Lakes Conservation Association is hosting a golf cart parade at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 30. The parade will start at the CLCAC house and travel up Chapman Lake Drive

On Sunday, July 2, the Barbee Lake Property Owners Association is sponsoring its second annual flotilla. The theme of the flotilla is “Favorite Holiday”. Motorized boats of all kinds can be decorated to celebrate a favorite holiday. This year the organization is also encouraging land and or dock decorating. Registration for the flotilla is 12:30 p.m. and the flotilla parade will begin at 1:30 p.m.
WINONA LAKE
- The Cutie Contest will be held on Saturday, July 1, at the Winona Lake Senior Center. The 3-4 year old category will have registration at 1:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. start time. The 5-6 year old age group has a 2:30 p.m. registration time with a 3 p.m. start time.
- The Winona Lake parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, with the theme of Wizard of Oz. The parade will start at Columbia drive and continue north on Park Avenue, west on administration boulevard, south on Canal street and end at Fort Wayne Street.
- “Summer Surprises with the Symphony” will take place at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, in the park at Winona Lake below the outdoor amphitheater.
- The Winona Lake fireworks will be held over the lake at dusk on Saturday, July 1.
