Kid’s Power Of Produce Club Comes Back To Farmers Market
KOSCIUSKO — The Kosciusko County Farmers and Artisans Market kicks off the Kid’s POP Club from 10 a.m. until noon this Saturday, July 1. This is the second year of the POP Club at the market, which is an educational program for kids ages 5-12.
It teaches the importance of eating healthy including local food and produce through fun games and activities. This is a five week program that includes activities like, edible art with vegetables, “Eat The Rainbow”, scavenger hunt and making a dinosaur garden. They will also receive POP bucks to spend on fresh vegetables at the market. Kosciusko Community Hospital is the Premier Sponsor of this program.
The market is also filled with fresh produce, maple syrup, delicious baked goods, local honey, handmade soap, flowers, hot sauces, wooden toys and many more local products. Bring the family Downtown this Saturday to support the local farmers and artisans and sign kids up at the POP Club table.
The market is located in downtown Warsaw on Center Street between Buffalo and Lake streets.
