Take a break from summer’s heat with these upcoming, “cool” programs at Warsaw Community Public Library.

  • Chess Club meets at 10 a.m. Saturdays.
  • Jon Siesennop presents, “Travel to Israel” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 3. Register.
  • Ages 13-18 can “drop in” to Drop in Zone, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 5.
  • Off the Shelf reading group discusses Jane Austen at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6.
  • Author David Wilgus will sign copies of his book, “Cub Fan’s Dream Come True,” at 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 7.
  • Cookbook Club meets at 11 a.m. Monday, July 10, to share herb recipes.
  • The Knit and Purl Club meets at 6 p.m. Monday, July 10.
  • Writer’s Club will share about “July 4,” “Our Country,” and/or “County Fair” at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 10.
  • Sally Reuter returns at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, with a “distressed” flag stand craft. Register.
  • Computer Clinic is 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, and at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 26.
