Cemetery Tours Offered In South Bend
SOUTH BEND — It sounds a bit eerie– visiting grave sites– but you can now see graves of some of South Bend’s most influential people.
It’s part of South Bend History Museum’s Cemetery Tours.
It’s happening Thursday night at the City Cemetery in South Bend. You’ll be able to walk the grounds of the cemetery, seeing centuries of history from the 1800’s to present day.
Tour groups will stop at various grave sites, including the first Mayor of South Bend, the Studebaker brothers, and Schuyler Colfax.
Tours start at 6:30 and they’re $2.
If you want to take part, just meet at the entrance of the city cemetery at Elm and West Colfax.
