John J. Wagoner
John J. Wagoner, 72, Warsaw, passed away June 13th in Parkview Regional Medical Center, North Fort Wayne.
John was born the son of Raymond and Ellen (Hill) Wagoner on Dec. 11, 1944 in Warsaw. He grew up in Bourbon and graduated from Bourbon High School in 1963 and graduated from the University of Evansville with a Bachelors Degree. He began his career in Bourbon at Biomet (O.E.C.) and then moved with Biomet as it transitioned to Warsaw in 1990. John was retired as a Director of Regulatory Affairs for over twenty years.
His hobbies included spending time with his family, cooking, fishing, mowing lawn, the Chicago Bears, Big 10 college basketball and was a avid fan of Notre Dame football.
On May 2, 1998 he married Brenda (Gallup) who survives along with four children: Scott and Jennifer Wagoner of Lansing, Mich.; Angela (Mrs. Terry) Hile of Round Rock, Texas; Matthew and Lisa Dolbee of Kailua, Hawaii; Daniel and Alissa Dolbee of Warsaw; along with twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Mrs. Jim) Dunn of Tucson, Ariz. and brother, Richard and Jean Wagoner of Springfield, Ohio.
John was preceded in death by his parents and son Nathan Dolbee.
The family will receive friends on Monday 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN 46504. A funeral service will be on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Jordan Muck officiating and burial following in Pleasant Hill Cemetery Bourbon.
The family ask that memorial contributions be made to the American Stroke Association in his memory.
