Preliminary Plat Of Technology Park Phase II Approved By Plan Commission
WARSAW — The Warsaw Plan Commission meeting held last night, June 12, lasted less than 10 minutes. The only item to discuss was the preliminary plat of Phase II of the Warsaw Technology Plat.
CIty Planner Jeremy Skinner presented the plat. He explained that the important part of the preliminary plot is laying out the lots and areas for right-of-ways and utilities. More design work will be done before the plat is finalized. It’s also important to note that lots could be combined to create a larger lot if a buyer needs more acreage.
Skinner noted that interest in the land “comes and goes.” It will be easier to find developers for the land once more progress is made.
Resident Margie Henderson was present at the meeting to ask how the greenway would be included into the technology park. Skinner explained that the greenway path on phase II will cross over where the phase I path ends. It will pass near Ivy Tech and continue on the north side of the park. Currently there are no plans for how the path would cross US 30 in the future.
With no further questions from the board, the preliminary plat was approved.
