Lois Rockey
Lois Rockey, 81, Warsaw, passed away at 2:44 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Feb. 21, 1936 in Kosciusko County to Joseph E. and Viola M. (Fisher) Johnson.
She was united in marriage to Junior William Rockey in Winona Lake Dec. 17, 1954. He preceded her Feb. 8, 1997. She was formerly employed by Horne-Sunnymeade Kentucky Fried Chicken, Ramsey News and United Telephone Service all of Warsaw. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County she attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was a former Girls Softball Coach in the Warsaw.
Survivors include daughters Vicky (Stanley) Patterson of Warsaw and Kimberly Rockey of Indianapolis. In addition, grandchildren Mathew W. Brown and Kristi (Peter) Lucht both of Warsaw and great-grandchildren Lorelai, Isaiah, Jazette and Lukas and a sister Mildred Pook of Tennessee survive. She was preceded by a great-grandson Griffin Lucht, seven brothers and one sister.
Visitation hours are scheduled from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. in the Funeral Chapel with Pastor Peter Lucht officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
