Douglas Garl Cultice
Douglas Garl Cultice, 77, Argos, died at 6:18 a.m. June 10, 2017, at his residence where he had been in declining health.
He was born on Oct. 22, 1939 in Argos to Garl Layton Cultice and Beatrice Louise (Warner) Cultice. Doug had lived in the Argos community since 1986 coming from Lakeville, Indiana.
On Dec. 20, 1958 in Mishawaka he married Jacqueline (Fisher) Cultice and together they have shared the past 57 years. Doug worked for John Deere Harvester in East Moline, Ill. He also was a entrepreneur having owned a Bar/Restaurant called Jackie’s Lounge along with other endeavors.
Doug is survived by is wife, Jackie; daughters: Shay L. Cultice, LaPaz; Kelly K Bronkema and husband Kevin, Edwardsburg, Mich.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Clay D. Cultice
Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. Thursday June 15 at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday June 16 at the Earl-Grossman Funeral Home, 208 N. Michigan St., Argos with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. of the Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos.
Entombment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos.
