Oakwood Resort Serves As Host Site For Wooden Boat Show
SYRACUSE — Oakwood Resort announces their pier area and boat slips will once again serve as the host site for the Wawasee Wooden Boat Show. The show is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 24. There will be a late day Thunder Run around Lake Wawasee, Indiana’s largest natural lake, for those wishing to participate but the event will not include any formal judging of the boats.
Food and beverage service will be available through The Pier and Back Porch Restaurant. Additionally, there will be an on-land display area for those who prefer to leave their boat parked on a trailer. The Wawasee Wooden Boat Show is open to all participants and spectators and no pre-registration is required. Anyone who wishes to participate, however, is asked to please contact the event organizers at [email protected] so they may plan accordingly.
“These beautiful boats are definitely a sight to behold!” stated General Manager, Tamra Henry. “We are really looking forward to serving as host site for the day.”
