Whitko, Valley Well Represented On TRC Softball Honors
MANCHESTER – There was plenty of representation to go around for the Whitko and Tippecanoe Valley softball programs after the Three Rivers Conference issued its softball All-Conference list this week.
Whitko, which just finished a semi-state run this past weekend, had Ellie Snep named as one of the All-TRC pitchers, her batterymate Emalee Duggins an All-TRC catcher.
Outfielder Riley Insley and infielder Anna Ousley were also tabbed All-TRC and Andrea Snavley was given an Honorable Mention All-TRC nod for the Lady Wildcats.
The Lady Vikings had outfielder Kirstyn Yoder and infield sisters Abby and Ally Betten all named All-TRC and Sydney Howard named Honorable Mention All-TRC.
Conference champion Manchester had pitchers Brooklyn Howard and Mattie McKee, outfielder Mackenzie Day and infielders Kiera Stacy and Emma West all tabbed All-TRC. Sydney Day was named Honorable Mention All-TRC.
Rounding out the All-TRC honors went to pitchers Ashley Lackman of North Miami and Bethany Caldwell of Peru, catchers Brooke Elliot of Southwood and Kiana Kendall of Northfield, infielders Alexis Elliott of Rochester, Maryann Freeman of North Miami, Courtlynn Crowe of Peru and Ally Keaffaber of Northfield, and outfielders Alexis Taylor of Northfield, Kori Rouch of Rochester, Kassidy Atwood of Southwood and Megan Sinkovics of Peru. Kennedy Musselman of Rochester and Hannah Hall of North Miami were also named All-TRC as ‘Extra Players’.
Honorable Mention All-TRC were given to Caitlyn Mongosa of Peru, Marlie Halterman of North Miami, Maci Brown of Rochester, Kassity Simpson of Southwood, Shelby Ward of Northfield and Shelby Spence of Maconaquah.
