Weather Cooperates For Second Day Of Northern Indiana Lakes Festival
WARSAW — The weather was much more cooperative for the second day of the annual Northern Indiana Lakes Festival today, May 27. The festival began at 11 a.m. and will last into the evening with fireworks at dark.
Different events and vendors scattered all over Central Park, providing entertainment for all ages. The crowd favorites were the All American Lumberjack Shows and the Indiana WILD Show. Attendees were able to participate in these active shows, check out the 5,000 gallon fish tank, participate in Paddle Wars and much more.
The free event, now in its ninth year, is a great way for the community to enjoy the outdoors while also learning about responsible care for the local lakes and streams. As festival participants completed activities, they could earn stamps on an “educational passport” and receive water-themed prizes for completed passports.
The fun continues tomorrow with even more events.
