Rain Brought Early End To Friday Night Festivities
WARSAW — The rain was not kind during the first day of the Northern Lake Festival and the Central Park Concert Series on Friday, May 26. The fun began and finished a little earlier than expected due to the rain.
Parrots of The Caribbean, a Jimmy Buffet Tribute band kicked the festival off at 6:30 p.m. The band sang summer classics, such as Margaritaville. They started performing a half hour earlier than scheduled with hopes of beating the rain. But around 7:15 p.m., the rain began and the concert came to a quick end.
Weather for the rest of the festival looks hopeful with plenty of activities for the whole family. All festival events take place at Central Park in Warsaw. The following is the schedule of events.
