Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:
4:56 a.m. Thursday, May 25, North Old Road 15, north of West CR 900N, MIlford. Driver: Miguel A. Melendres Munoz, 19, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Driver stated he got too close to the edge of the road and lost control of his vehicle, striking a NIPSCO utility pole. Damage up to $2,500.
8:42 a.m. Friday, May 26, South Packerton Road and Jackson Street, Packerton. Drivers: Clyde Arnett, 80, West CR 600S, Claypool, and Jerry Aikins, 62, Wilcox Road, Warsaw. Arnett backed up his vehicle at a railroad crossing and hit Aikins’ vehicle. Damages up to $2,500.
3:55 p.m. Friday, May 26, South Main and West Prairie streets, Leesburg. Drivers: Addam Shepherd, 74, First Street, Warsaw, and Jack Worth, 75, North CR 20E, Warsaw. Shepherd pulled out his vehicle from a gas station and hit Worth’s vehicle. Damages up to $10,000.
10:17 p.m. Friday, May 26, West SR 14 and South CR 600W, Silver Lake. Driver: Jessica Gearheart, 33, Rochester Street, Akron. Gearheart struck a utility pole that was in the roadway during a thunderstorm. Damages up to $10,000.
6:27 a.m. Saturday, May 27, Beer Road and North CR 175 East, Milford. Driver: Melanie Davis, 37, Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Davis’ vehicle collided with a deer. Damages up to $2,500.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
3:53 p.m. Thursday, May 25, West South Street, west of North SR 13, North Webster. Driver: Dallas K. Smith, 61, EMS B42 Lane, Leesburg. Smith was backing out of a parking space and backed into a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
5:25 p.m. Friday, May 26, East Center and North Lincoln streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Philip Fozo, 31, Scott Street, Warsaw, and Patricia Faroh, 59, Highlander Drive, Warsaw. Bozo’s vehicle rear ended Faroh’s vehicle at an intersection. Damages up to $10,000.
