FORT WAYNE – The heavy rain that hit the area Wednesday night altered the schedule of the Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Baseball Sectional.

The opening game of the Class 1-A tournament was postponed Thursday for the second straight night.

The revised schedule now has Lakewood Park facing host Blackhawk Christian Friday at 5 p.m. Triton will now play Hamilton Saturday at 10 a.m., followed by Fremont versus Bethany Christian.

The tourney is slated to conclude Monday as scheduled. Elkhart Christian Academy will face the Lakewood Park-Blackhawk winner in the first semifinal at 10 a.m. with the Triton-Hamilton winner then playing the Fremont-Bethany winner in the second semifinal.

The championship game is still scheduled for Monday at 5 p.m.
