2017 Mentone Egg Festival: Cowboy Boots and Midwest Roots
MENTONE — The 2017 Mentone Egg Festival will be celebrated June 1-3, with the Cowboy Boots and Midwest Roots theme. The egg festival is a great way to build community relationships and connections. Many nonprofit organizations are able to earn enough money at the festival to fund their yearly projects.
The festival is very family oriented with activities for all ages. It’s a great event to catch up with old friends and make news ones. Many outside the Mentone area attend the festival for various charming activities such as the car show which typically displays 150 cars, trucks and motorcycles. It will take place along a strip that offers places to eat and chances to taste the local grub.
Locals and out-of-towners look forward to the festival every year in the community. The shower of positive comments and great attendance is what drives the celebration every year. The festival is a way to let everyone know that the small town is still kicking.
