BREAKING — Rovenstine Receives No Jail Time For Felony Offense
WARSAW — Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine was sentenced this morning, May 23, in Kosciusko County Circuit Court.
Rovenstine pled guilty to intimidation, a level 6 felony. He was sentenced to one year, which was suspended.
The remaining nine charges, also felonies, were dismissed pursuant to the plea agreement. Those charges included three counts of bribery, one count of assisting a criminal and five counts of official misconduct.
Warsaw Police Officer Paul Heaton testified for the state and former Kosciusko Detective JD Ayers testified for the defense.
