200 New Manufacturing Jobs In The First Five Months Of 2017
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — 2017 is starting out as a good year for job creation in and near Kosciusko County. Two projects Kosciusko County Economic Development Corporation directly assisted included Shiloh Industries, an automotive supplier manufacturer in Pierceton which is adding $9.7 million of state of the art manufacturing equipment and 73 new positions; Flexaust, a manufacturer of flexible industrial hoses which is expanding its main manufacturing building in Warsaw at $2 million, adding $6.6 million in state of the art equipment, and adding 35 new positions.
Gulf Stream Coach, a Nappanee based company, held a pizza party for its 130 employees in Etna Green to celebrate the 25,000 RV units they had produced. The company also announced an increase in employment of 45 positions.
Lastly, KEDCo would like to congratulate the Town of Syracuse on securing its first tenant in the Syracuse Technology Park, located just across the County line in Elkhart County. Indiana RV headquartered in New Paris will move its operations to the Technology Park into a new dramatic headquarters building and a new manufacturing facility in the Syracuse Park.
