PIERCETON — Horizon Landscaping has opened the doors to a new office and nursery space at 3243 S. SR 13, Pierceton. The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the business Thursday, May 18.

The company was founded by Matt and Jacky Tracy, who opened the business in 2006. Raised on a family farm, Matt’s passion for landscaping began at a very young age while helping his mom plant flowers and mowing lawns for neighbors and family. Matt went on to receive an Associates Degree in landscape management and design.

In its first year of business, Horizon Landscapes was awarded first place in the Parade of Homes People’s Choice Award.

“The team’s unique passion, creativity, and innovative designs has propelled them to what is now a full-service design/build/maintenance landscape company,” states the company’s website.

Horizon will be holding a grand opening through Saturday, May 20, offering 20 percent off the entire nursery stock. Located just south of Pierceton on SR 13, Horizon Landscapes is open 9 a.m – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturdays. They are closed Sundays.
